We are seeking a Senior Manager FinOps ITD Finance to lead finance and accounting operations for the central hub managing the Group’s IT & Digital spend. The role works closely with local FinOps France, FinOps SSC, and the central ITD controlling team. It requires strong technical financial skills, process orientation, and communication, with experience in complex financial accounting, reporting processes, project management, stakeholder engagement, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Reporting to the VP Finance ITD, with a dotted line to the local FinOps lead in France.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with local FinOps and SSC to manage financial accounting and reporting for the ITD hub entity.
- Oversee accounting and reporting operations performed by the SSC.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment.
- Own monthly financial closing and group reporting.
- Manage yearly group reporting and statutory closing.
- Challenge and improve existing finance frameworks.
- Design and implement finance-related projects with SSC and ITD teams.
- Perform financial analyses and deliver insightful reports.
- Identify process and system improvement opportunities.
- Ensure strong internal controls over accounting and reporting.
1. Technical Proficiency:
- Strong experience with French GAAP and IFRS/US GAAP.
- Knowledge of French tax/statutory matters (VAT, taxable income, statutory accounts).
- Experience with accounting systems (ideally MSD 365) and Excel.
- Experience in accounting, controlling, reporting, process design, internal controls, and finance projects.
2. Soft Skills:
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Openness to coaching junior accountants.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments.
3. Language:Fluent French and English.
4. Analytical Skills:Strong analytical mindset and financial analysis abilities.
5. Leadership: Experience leading high-performing teams.
6. Communication: Strong skills for stakeholder management and presenting insights.
7. Project & Change Management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive process changes.
Profile:
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
CPA is a plus. - 7+ years’ experience in similar roles, ideally in multinationals.
- Strong French GAAP and IFRS/US GAAP experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
